Meet Leslie.

(she/her/hers)

Hi, thanks for being here.

I am a physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience and I have been focusing on pelvic heath concerns for almost a decade.

I have an undergrad, a Masters (PT) and countless post-graduate hours of education related to physiotherapy and pelvic health. I love to learn and I am extremely passionate about my job.

I’ve spent most of my life on the soccer pitch, although I’m mostly a spectator now. I’ve dabbled in a few endurance races and qualified for Boston. I’ve given a solid effort to whatever activity was thrown my way, and love trying new things. With any luck you might catch me learning to navigate The Mice on wheels or in a pottery class this coming year!

I am a wife and a mother to 4 kids under 6, a boy, 2 girls and a special boy who we didn’t get enough time with. We also have 2 Australian Shepherds. Yes it’s busy and no my education didn’t give me a pass on any pelvic health issues (if it only worked that way!).

I know what it’s like to win, but more importantly I’ve lost. I know what hard work is, but I also have times when I just want to give up. I know how badly I can want things to be the way they were, but I’m learning to trust the process, stay consistent and “enjoy the ride” as they say. I believe this allows me to meet my patients where they are. To collaboratively create an individualized treatment plan that works for their body and their life and to get them moving forward toward their goals.

Pelvic health concerns are more than just the symptoms you’re experiencing. They have a way of making us feel broken, like a failure or less than. They make us want to isolate, avoid and hide. Your body is capable of incredible change and there’s no such things as “too much information” when we work together. Through a mix of a education, exercise, needling (IMS) and manual therapy, my hope is that we can work together to connect the pieces so you can trust your body again, in a way that works for you, and get you back to fully enjoying the things you love.

I want to be completely honest with you though. I can’t fix you, for 2 reasons:

  1. You’re not broken.

  2. You control your body and your decisions.

I am, however, completely committed to helping you find ways to improve your concerns. I am dedicated to continually learning and staying up to date on research. And if I don’t have an answer, I promise to connect you with appropriate resources as needed.

I look forward to connecting with you.

“Leslie is incredible. I saw her in 2018 after my first daughter was born, and again in 2020 after my second daughter. Both times she worked with me on improving my breath, posture, and alignment after significant diastases from pregnancy. She clearly has immense knowledge in the profession and also seems to draw on personal experience which I found very helpful. Her demeanor is lovely- very calm, professional, and kind. She goes above and beyond for her clients, very grateful for her care and attention.”

“I can’t recommend Leslie for pelvic floor physio enough. I had significant pain with sex postpartum and once I got in contact with her she had all the tips and tricks to rebuild my pelvic floor and once again sex was enjoyable. I am so grateful for her guidance. Pre and postpartum”
